In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining locks, security systems, and related hardware across various locations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain locks, door hardware, safes, and security systems in accordance with industry standards. Diagnose electrical issues related to electronic locking mechanisms using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately perform repairs or installations. Conduct electrical diagnostics on security equipment and heavy machinery to ensure optimal operation. Perform routine maintenance on mechanical components of locks and security hardware to prevent malfunctions. Collaborate with maintenance teams on the repair and upkeep of heavy equipment mechanics involved in security infrastructure. Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including service reports, parts used, and system updates. Qualifications Proven experience as a locksmith or in a similar role involving lock installation, repair, or maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Experience with electrical diagnostics, including the use of ohmmeters and other testing tools. Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics relevant to security infrastructure. Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures for industrial facilities. Technical proficiency in reading schematics and troubleshooting electronic lock systems. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail and safety protocols.
