Job Description

General Definition of Work:
Works within the Master Control Center at the Saginaw County Jail. Starting at $16.00/hr
Essential Functions:
Responsible for the security of the Saginaw County Sheriff's Office building through the controls of an electronic door access system. Responsible for security of the jail through the monitoring and operation of the camera system as well as remote access door controls. Other duties include scheduling of conference rooms for inmate visits, handling requests from the public concerning inmate matters, and handling inmate property.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Ability to work with people and wait on customers of all socio/economic backgrounds and cultures in a pleasant way. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
