We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. Seeking a Senior Auxiliary Systems Technician to support the
PMS 377 LPD
program in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities Supports Milestone Management of Auxiliary Systems in support of Electronic Systems Light Off (ESLO), Combat System Light Off (CSLO), Electrical Generator Light Off (EGLO), and Main Engine Light Off (MELO). Reviews Auxiliary Systems Industrial Test Procedure CDRL's for technical accuracy against ship specifications and sub tier references. Serves as integrator and test witness for the following Auxiliary Systems including the following systems but not limited to; HVAC, CFW, CW, ASW, MSW, Firemain, Ballast/De-ballast, Potable Water, Deck Machinery and Hotel Services. Supports Builders, Acceptance, Final Contract and Special Trials. Qualifications Prior experience with LPD Platform Auxiliary Test and Evaluation experience is a plus. ACAT Level I LPD program experience of at least 10 plus years. Navy Class A/C school experience is preferred. Secret clearance. Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching for extended periods (up to 8 hours) without undue fatigue. Capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds (or as specified by the employer) with or without assistance, and to move heavy materials and equipment safely.
