Pay is based on experience and qualifications. Experienced commercial locksmith/access control technicians are encouraged to apply. About the Position We specialize in commercial locksmithing, access control, electronic security, door hardware, and related security systems. This is commercial work only — we do not work on residential homes or automotive vehicles. We prefer someone with previous experience, but we are willing to train the right person who has good mechanical ability, a willingness to learn, and takes pride in their work. Responsibilities Install, repair, and service commercial locks and door hardware Install, service, and troubleshoot access control systems Install and service electronic locks, card readers, keypads, and related equipment Install and service electrified exit devices and door hardware Install and adjust door closers and automatic door operators Perform rekeying and master key work Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic security equipment Perform basic low-voltage wiring and connections Program and configure access control equipment Travel to commercial job sites throughout the Las Vegas area Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, contractors, and other trades Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records Maintain a clean and professional work environment Qualifications Commercial locksmith or access control experience is preferred, but not required .

Have good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Be comfortable using hand and power tools Be willing and able to learn new equipment and technology Be dependable and punctual Have good communication and customer-service skills Be able to work independently as well as as part of a team Have a valid driver's license Be comfortable working at commercial properties and construction sites Take pride in performing quality work Be able to pass a background check Be eligible to obtain and maintain a Clark County Sheriff's Card Experience That Is a Plus Experience with any of the following is a plus: Commercial locksmithing Access control systems Electronic locks Card readers and keypads Electrified door hardware Exit devices Door closers and automatic door operators Low-voltage wiring Alarm and security systems Master key systems Commercial door hardware Why United Lock?
