The following lists the responsibilities and requirements of the Safe, Vault and Drive-Up Technician position.
Responsibilities:
  • Travel for assigned jobs along Southern Connecticut corridor.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on vault systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform regular inspections, testing, and calibration of security features and access controls.
  • Perform combination changes on both electronic and mechanical locks
  • Complete safe deposit break opens and lock replacements
  • Experience with time movements and tables
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to vault systems, including electronic, mechanical, or software malfunctions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to VAT systems, including deal drawers
  • Perform Scheduled Cleaning and other basic maintenance on locks and banking equipment including vaults
  • Execute timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime and maintain security.
  • Stay updated on the latest security technologies and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other staff members as needed.
  • Provide support and assistance to clients or end-users regarding vault operations, security measures, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff members on the proper use, maintenance, and security measures associated with vault systems.
Required Skills:
Mechanical aptitude Basic computer skills, including Outlook Valid Driver's License and insurance, plus clean driving record. Ability to multi-task and time management skills Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, and walking significant distances. Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Ability to understand and follow instructions precisely. Ability to manage high stress situations in a calm manner.
