  • Amarillo To apply, please text: +1 (361) 222-2409 Job Summary Howdy Lock & Key is looking for energetic, responsible, and motivated Locksmith Technicians to join our growing team.
You will help customers with residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services, including lock installation, repairs, replacements, lockouts, key services, and security hardware. Previous locksmith experience is preferred, but it is not required. We can provide training for reliable and motivated candidates who are willing to learn and work hard. Responsibilities Install, repair, replace, and maintain locks and security hardware. Assist customers with residential, commercial, and automotive lockouts. Diagnose problems with mechanical and electronic locking systems. Cut, program, and replace keys when properly trained and equipped. Read technical instructions, manuals, and diagrams. Maintain locksmith tools, equipment, and vehicle supplies. Communicate professionally with customers and the dispatch office. Provide accurate updates about arrival times, job status, and completed work. Document services performed, parts used, and payments collected. Follow company procedures and safety standards. Qualifications Must be attentive, responsible, and dependable. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have a reliable personal vehicle. Must have a working smartphone. Locksmith or technical repair experience is preferred. Mechanical and electrical knowledge is a plus. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to solve problems and work independently. Willingness to learn and complete training. Ability to respond quickly and manage multiple service calls. Compensation This is a paid position.
