Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lock mechanisms and security systems, with the ability to provide exceptional service to our clients. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks and security devices, ensuring the safety and security of residential and commercial properties. Duties Install, repair, and maintain a variety of locks, keys, and security systems. Respond to emergency lockout situations in a timely manner. Use tools such as an Ohmmeter to diagnose issues with electronic locking systems. Provide recommendations for security upgrades based on client needs. Perform routine maintenance on locking mechanisms to ensure optimal functionality. Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory used. Educate clients on proper lock care and security practices. Requirements Proven experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in using locksmith tools and equipment, including an Ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
