Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining locks, security systems, and access control devices across various facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of our premises by diagnosing issues accurately and implementing effective solutions swiftly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the safety of our organization. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain a wide range of locking mechanisms, security hardware, and electronic access systems. Conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic locks and security systems. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately perform installations and repairs. Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and ensure proper functioning of security devices. Perform mechanical inspections on locks, safes, doors, and heavy equipment to identify wear or damage requiring attention. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure all security-related equipment operates efficiently and safely. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in lock mechanisms, safes, and door hardware. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting electronic security systems. Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams accurately. Experience working with heavy equipment mechanics is a plus for handling larger security installations or repairs. Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures to ensure ongoing system reliability. Technical proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, screwdrivers, drills, and other locksmithing equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$18.47 - $20.00 per hour
