We provide paid training and teach you everything you need to know—from residential and automotive lockouts to rekeys, lock changes, commercial locksmith work, and automotive key programming. What You'll Do Respond to dispatched service calls throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area Communicate professionally with customers Discuss pricing and recommend the best solution Perform residential and automotive lockouts Learn rekeys and lock changes Progress into commercial locksmith services Advance into automotive key programming Continue developing new skills that increase your earning potential What Makes This Job Different? This is a mobile field-service position, meaning no two days are exactly alike. You'll travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area helping customers who need immediate assistance. Some days are extremely busy, while others have downtime between calls. During your scheduled shift, you'll need to remain available to respond when jobs are dispatched. If you enjoy working independently, solving problems, helping people, and being out on the road instead of sitting behind a desk all day, this can be a very rewarding career. Your training path includes:
Residential & automotive lockouts Rekeys Lock changes Commercial locksmith services Automotive key programming Our goal is to continuously invest in your training so you can perform higher-value services and increase your income.
Pay Starting earnings:
$600-$800 per week Performance-based advancement No cap on earning potential Fully trained technicians commonly earn $1,500-$2,000+ per week What We're Looking For Strong communication and customer service skills Coachable and eager to learn Reliable and dependable Self-motivated Comfortable working independently Professional attitude Looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow Schedule Monday-Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. (On-Call During Your Scheduled Shift) Sundays off Some days are busy, while others are slower Must remain available throughout your scheduled work hours After successfully completing your 90-day introductory period, technicians become eligible for a second scheduled day off each week if they choose. Technicians who prefer to maximize their earnings also have the opportunity to continue working six days per week. Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle Smartphone with reliable service Clean background check
Texas Locksmith License:
Texas requires locksmith technicians to be licensed. The licensing fee is approximately $65, and we'll guide you through the licensing process.
Tools:
Technicians will need a basic set of locksmith tools to perform the entry-level services they'll be trained on. The typical startup investment is around $300, although the cost may be lower if you already own some of the required tools.
