- $40 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Retirement plan Qualifications Filing Maintenance activity documentation Locksmithing Physical document handling Full Job Description The Locksmith is responsible for performing skilled work involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of building lock systems, including cylindrical, unit, mortise, rim, and reload cylinders.
Preferences Locksmith Access Technician I:
High school diploma or equivalentLocksmith Access Technician II:
1-2 years of experience in locksmithing or access controlLocksmith Access Technician III:
3-5 years of locksmith/access control experienceLocksmith Access Technician IV:
5+ years of professional locksmith and access control experience Two years of full-time general locksmith experience, or equivalent (one year of education may substitute for two years of related work experience). Strong understanding of master key system fundamentals, with the ability to develop key codes compatible with existing master key systems. Experience using both manual and computerized key record and filing systems. Demonstrated interpersonal and effective communication skills. Mechanically inclined and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
