Security Solutions has an immediate opening in Everett WA for a locksmith who is looking to use their locksmithing experience with low voltage access control installation and are excited to add to our growing family of dedicated employees. This role includes a focus on door hardware installation with locksmith skills. In addition, this role would also include electronic security installation as a low voltage electrician apprentice including cabling, device installation, panel installation, and troubleshooting. As a low voltage apprentice you would be working with a journeyman low voltage electrician to provide training and guidance. Key Activities
- Develop custom tailored security solutions with electrified hardware
- Electronic lock hardware selection and installation
- Installation of ADA Operators
- Fully independent in the field (door hardware)
- Excellent finished carpentry skills
- Comprehensive door hardware product knowledge
- Complex master key system design and knowledge
- Effective communication and information presentation to customers & commercial clients
- Accurate scope-outs of door hardware
- Pick common commercial locks
- Pulling wire with low voltage journeyman electricians
- Installation of electronic security devices including access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, and video surveillance Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required 2-3 years documented experience in locksmithing Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Capable of performing physical labor including lifting and moving equipment and tools Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test Retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local Codes Current Washington State driver's license and a safe driving record Benefits All training and materials provided 8 hours per year of paid community volunteering hours 6 paid holidays Accrued personal time off 401K (Traditional or Roth plan) Health, Life, Dental, Vision insurance paid for our employees Employee Assistance Program Classes and opportunities for personal enrichment.
