Job Description:
Position Overview We are seeking a motivated CNC Machinist with 2-5 years of experience to join our growing manufacturing team in Cullman, AL. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to develop their skills in a modern, increasingly automated environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC machines and a strong willingness to learn and grow into more advanced machining responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) to produce precision parts Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Perform basic machine setups, tool changes, and offsets Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to inspect parts Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate when needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Required Qualifications 2-5 years of CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both) Basic understanding of G-code and CNC operations Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience using precision measurement tools Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable and able to work in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with automated or semi-automated machining environments Exposure to CNC programming or editing programs Trade school certification or technical training in machining Work Environment & Culture Modern facility with a mix of manual and automated CNC equipment Team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth and skill development Flexible and supportive workplace culture Why Join Us?
