Senior Level CNC Machinist (All Shifts) 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Decatur, AL 35601 Full-time M&J Precision Machine 3 reviews Full-time We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic candidates for First Shift (5-8s or 4-10s) Second Shift (4-10s), and Weekend shifts (3-12s). We are hiring Mid and Senior level Machinist. M&J Precision offers Excellent Compensation, Benefits that are low cost to the employee, Matching 401K, Paid time off, and a tool purchase program.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum two years experience setting up CNC mills, Horizontal Mills, and/or 5-axis machining centers Experience machining tight tolerance parts. Experience working with a shop floor control system. Experience with Mazak, Haas and Makino is a plus. Experience running large complex 5-axis Inconel parts a strong plus Experience with large (over 72") Mill-Turn parts will get strong consideration Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications. Experience running large complex parts a strong plus. Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and troubleshoot machining issues. Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales Strong understanding in blue print reading/ geometric tolerancing interpretation (GD&T) Experience with tight tolerance Aerospace parts Must be able to follow written and oral instructions Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Must be willing to work overtime occasionally Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.'
