Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment) to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job. Perform offsets, tool changes, and adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.). Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and team members to improve processes and reduce downtime.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of CNC experience (mills and/or lathes). Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T. Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials. Ability to set up machines independently with minimal supervision. Experience using precision measuring instruments. Basic understanding of CNC programming (G/M code adjustments a plus). Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with multi-axis machining. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software. Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience.
