IMMEDIATE HIRE POSITION
- We are looking for experienced 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm M-F) lathe setup and operators capable of reading setup sheets, setting up tools, building fixtures, making first articles, checking/logging dimensions & running parts on Haas lathes with live tooling. Our shop is state of the art and climate controlled. Responsibilities
- Review programs and prepare lathes for production runs
- Install and align tooling, fixtures, and materials per setup sheets
- Verify first-run parts meet print and program specifications
- Adjust offsets, tool heights, and machine parameters as needed
- Collaborate with operators and programmers to ensure smooth workflow Qualifications
- 2+ years CNC setup experience, specifically on lathes
- Experience using Haas machines preferred
- Experience with GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and G-code programs
- Knowledge of live tooling and static machine operation
- Strong understanding of tool measurement and machine alignment
- Must be able to set up manual knee mills for drill/tap & reaming applications.
