THE KING TEK CNC MILL MACHINIST
The CNC mill machinist's role is an integral member of King Tek's EDM Machine Shop team in Anaheim, CA. Milling services are a standalone service function but also closely tied to our EDM operations and a core part of our reputation and company culture: Honesty, Dedication, Motivation, trustworthiness, and hardworking focused on top level precision and quality.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED At least 1-3 years of experience with CNC milling machines Work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Work independently when needed with minimal supervision. Ability and willingness to learn new skills and accept increasing levels of responsibility. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to measure and check part dimensions per the traveler, work instruction or blueprint Ability to fixture/set-up mill machines Ability to run multiple jobs at the same time Ability to understand and read blueprint Identify and support continuous improvement efforts of production processes. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance as required Able to lift a minimum of 25lb unassisted Able to stand for extended periods (8 hours minimum) Must be able to stoop, bend, and be able to maneuver in tight spaces Repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls Other work and job-related tasks as directed
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Programming experience with GibbsCam or MasterCam Working knowledge of different types of metal and alloys. Proficiency in quality inspection techniques Documented Quality training Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principals Experience in running manual Bridgeport mills, lathe, grinder machines

Pay starting at but not limited to $24.00-30.00/hour, Higher rates will apply depending on experience and qualifications levels. 1st shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm 2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
