Job Description
A rapidly growing Aerospace company is actively looking for enthusiastic & responsible CNC Lathe Setup Machinists . Technical Skills:
- Capable to setup CNC 3/4-Axis CNC Lathe machines and perform all associated machining operations
- Minimum of 5 years' experience
- Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up and troubleshoot 3 axis Lathes
- Must be capable of changing tools and editing programs for increased efficiency
- Must be capable of using appropriate measuring tools and equipment
- Must be capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine soft jaws
- Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches
- Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work Other duties may include general mechanical work, equipment & facility maintenance, shop cleaning & organizing, and other duties as necessary.
Optional:
Able to carefully prove-out new CNC programs and make minor edits when necessary Enjoys the challenge of developing unique setups as necessary to produce ultra-low quantities of precision machined components Has experience working with a variety of materials (ie, aluminum, stainless steel, bronze, high-temp alloys, plastics, ect.) Can operate general shop equipmentEducation & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 year technical school certificate or equivalent on-the-job training
- Minimum of 5-years CNC machining experience in a job-shop environment
Other:
- Own some precision tools & basic hand tools
- Successfully pass physical exam, drug screen, & background check
- FULL-Time Position of 12 hours Mon-Fri with Sat optional (edited)
