Full Job Description Experience:
Mid Level Salary:
$30•$40 per hour Job Details•We are seeking an experienced Header Machinist to set up, troubleshoot, and operate cold heading equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for producing high-quality precision components while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and equipment reliability.
Hours:
1st shift and 2nd shfit available 1st Shift (4AM-230PM) 2nd Shift (230PM-1AM) will work 2 Saturdays per month
Days:
Monday-Friday Job Requirements:
Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and operate cold heading machines to meet production requirements. Manufacture quality parts in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Utilize precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment. Monitor production processes and perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality. Gather and review production documentation, tooling drawings, schedules, and work orders. Accurately record production output and setup activity within the production tracking system. Identify and report equipment issues, tooling concerns, material discrepancies, and process abnormalities. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience operating and setting up cold heading machinery. Strong experience using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, and related equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment.
