Temp-to-Hire About the Opportunity Onsite Personnel is currently hiring an experienced CNC Machine Setup Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity with one of our manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up CNC machining centers, interpreting blueprints, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities Set up CNC machining centers for production runs. Work with supervisors and programmers to ensure efficient machine setup and operation. Set up and machine aluminum castings and billet ("hog-out") components. Operate and troubleshoot vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers. Assist with CNC lathe setups when needed. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Work closely with Quality Control and production teams to ensure customer specifications are met. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures. Preferred Qualifications Experience with

HAAS CNC

machining centers. CNC programming experience. CAM software experience. Fixture design and fabrication experience. Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of CNC machine setup experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience operating vertical and horizontal machining centers. Experience with CNC lathes is a plus. Proficient with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Work Environment This position is located in a manufacturing facility and requires working around CNC machinery, moving mechanical equipment, coolant systems, and machine noise. Temperatures may range from approximately 60°F to 90°F depending on production needs. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times. Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Lift and carry up to 40 pounds occasionally. Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
