Our client, a precision manufacturing company, is looking for a CNC Machine Set Up Technician to join their team in Camarillo, CA . In this role, you will support the machine shop manager and programmers with setting up and running CNC machining jobs while working closely with the QC department to ensure all parts meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and machine castings and hog outs accurately and efficiently Operate vertical and horizontal mills and support lathe operations as needed Assist machine shop manager and programmers with job setup and production runs Work with the QC department to ensure finished parts meet customer specifications and GD&T requirements Confer with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information Program

machines as needed (a plus) Design and create fixtures to support production requirements (preferred) Use CAM software for programming and job preparation (a plus) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required Minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience in a manufacturing environment required Experience with vertical and horizontal machining centers required Proficiency with precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers Strong understanding of GD&T callouts and requirements Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Basic computer knowledge Experience with

Pay Rate:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
