2 months ago Description SkillsetGroup is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist to work in the City of Industry, CA area. The CNC Mill Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining centers to manufacture precision aerospace components according to blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of CNC machining experience, strong setup skills, aerospace or tight-tolerance manufacturing experience, and familiarity with multi-axis machining. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with 1st and 2nd shift openings available.

$24-$50/hr.

Starts at 6:00 AM

Shift:
Starts at 3:00 PM Responsibilities
- 5+ years CNC machining experience preferred
- Set up and operate CNC milling centers
- Experience with 5-axis or multi-axis CNC machines preferred
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
- Load and verify programs, tooling, offsets, and fixtures
- Adjust machine parameters, offsets, tooling, and workholding as needed
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with aerospace/customer specifications
- Work with programmers, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve machining issues
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area
- Aerospace, defense, or tight-tolerance machining experience preferred
- Basic G-code, tooling, fixtures, and setup knowledge required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
