1st shift, Monday

  • 2:30am), and Weekend shift, Friday
  • Sunday (5:00am
  • 5:30pm) .
In this vital role, you will operate and set up CNC machines—including lathes and milling machines—to produce precision metal components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and quality in our manufacturing processes. We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about precision machining. Duties Set up and operate CNC machining equipment such as CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications Operating, setting and editing programs to ensure accurate machining processes Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), to verify dimensions and tolerances Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measurement tools for quality control purposes Conduct machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to optimize machining operations while adhering to safety standards Use manual machining tools such as grinders, hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment when necessary for finishing or adjustments Maintain detailed documentation of production runs, inspection reports, and machine maintenance logs to ensure compliance with quality standards Additional duties as needed within Machine Shop and other departments Qualifications 8+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or equivalent Strong understanding of CNC machining processes including milling, turning on CNC lathe machines, and manual machining techniques Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications accurately Mechanical knowledge of machining tools, measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers), and precision measurement in machining Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction on the shop floor Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machine setups Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and effectively Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection using measurement instruments for precision quality control Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing by bringing your passion for machining excellence to our team!
