This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment, hands-on field work, and extensive travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform precision field machining and mechanical repairs on industrial equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop effective repair solutions. Operate portable machining equipment, including mills, lathes, and boring bars. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Maintain tight machining tolerances while following all safety and quality standards. Travel extensively, including occasional weekends.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of experience in manual machining, industrial/mechanical maintenance, millwright work, heavy equipment, automotive/diesel repair, field service, manufacturing maintenance, aircraft/marine maintenance, or military mechanical trades. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available).
Preferred:
#healthcare2026 Trade school, apprenticeship, military technical training, or Journeyman certification. OSHA 10 certification. Experience with Bridgeport mills, engine lathes, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
