SKILLED MACHINIST

Opportunity to Train & Grow into Metal Spinning Hi-Craft Metal Products is looking for a skilled, dependable Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Gardena, CA 90248 . This is a great opportunity for an experienced machinist who enjoys hands-on work, wants to broaden their skills, and is interested in developing into a specialized trade. The right candidate will have the opportunity to train directly under one of our experienced Metal Spinners while also helping us program and transition existing machining work onto our MJC CNC machine. What You'll Do Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machining equipment Read and work from drawings, blueprints, and specifications Measure and inspect parts to maintain quality and tolerances Perform machine setups, adjustments, and machining operations Assist with programming and transitioning existing work onto our MJC CNC machine Work with a variety of metals and manufactured components Train directly with an experienced Metal Spinner and develop metal spinning skills Work alongside experienced team members across different shop operations Step in cross-functionally as needed to help complete machining and production work Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area What We're Looking For Previous machining experience Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools Understanding of machining tolerances CNC programming or setup experience is strongly preferred Dependable and consistent attendance Strong attention to detail Willingness to learn new manufacturing processes and specialized skills Interest in developing a long-term career in metalworking A team-player mindset and willingness to support different machining operations as needed Why Hi-Craft Metal Products?
