About Us:
TeDan Surgical Innovations (TSI) is a leader in designing and manufacturing specialty surgical products for orthopedic, neuro, thoracic, and spine procedures. We are dedicated to innovation, quality, and improving the surgeon experience.
Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated Machinists (Level 1, 2, or 3) to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC machinery, ensure quality production, and contribute to process improvement. Responsibilities and requirements vary by level.
Responsibilities:
Operate and/or set up CNC machines to produce precision components. Use measuring tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances. Read and interpret engineering prints and technical drawings. Perform in-process inspections and maintain quality standards. Deburr and polish machined parts. Complete production documentation. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform equipment maintenance. Assist with tooling and fixture development (Levels 2 and 3). Create and manage CNC programs (Level 3). Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training/certification preferred for higher levels.
Experience:
Level 1: 0-1 year in machining/manufacturing. Level 2: 2+ years in machining/manufacturing. Level 3: 5+ years in machining/manufacturing. CNC machine operation proficiency; advanced setup/programming for higher levels. Knowledge of G-code/M-code (Levels 2 and 3). CAM software experience (Level 3). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods. Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Tolerance for machine shop environment.
