Job Description
Position Overview:
The CNC Lathe III is an experienced machining professional responsible for independently setting up, programming, operating, and optimizing CNC lathe equipment used to manufacture high-precision plastic components. This position requires strong hands-on experience with CNC turning, G-code programming, tooling selection, dimensional inspection, and machining thermoplastic and engineering-plastic materials. Required- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC lathe operation experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience machining plastic materials, including thermoplastics, engineering plastics, and/or composites
- Demonstrated ability to independently set up CNC lathes
- Hands-on G-code programming and editing experience at the machine control
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or comparable CNC controls
- Strong understanding of CNC turning processes, tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment IND001
Pay:
