CNC Machinist CHawk Technology - 3.7 Hayward, CA Job Details Full-time $21 - $28 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Life insurance Qualifications Inspection gauge Composite materials Statistics Mechanical blueprint interpretation Measurement-based inspection Machine setup Blueprint specification interpretation Tooling Quality control statistical data analysis Aluminum Statistical Process Control Bore gauges Machining tool setup Dimensional measurements Statistical analysis Training or mentoring plastics production machine operators CNC quality inspection Precision measurement in machining Steel Mentoring Training machine operators CNC G-code Programming Leading team collaboration initiatives Machine adjustment Technical training Technical troubleshooting support Cutting machines Training & development Plastics CAM programming Full Job Description Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Lead the setup and operation of the most complex CNC machining projects Optimize advanced CNC programs for new products and prototype parts Expert for troubleshooting critical production and quality issues Collaborate with CNC programming on design for manufacturability Perform continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety Lead and maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S standards and safety protocols Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to Operator, Machinist I and II personnel Perform advanced root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions Optimize cutting parameters, tool life, and cycle times for cost reduction Lead cross-functional teams for new product introductions (NPI) Ensure compliance with quality systems Monitor and analyze machining processs to identify improvement opportunities
