In this role, you will operate and set up manual machining equipment to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and precision measurement will ensure the highest quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining tools, contribute to innovative manufacturing processes, and support the production of complex parts across various industries. Duties Operate manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications Interpret engineering drawings, and technical specifications to ensure precision manufacturing Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and dial indicators to verify dimensions and tolerances Maintain tooling, fixtures, and tooling setups for various machining operations while adhering to lean manufacturing principles Perform routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues promptly, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment efficiently for machine setup or minor repairs Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements or efficiency improvements Experience Proven experience operating manual machining equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, or similar machinery in a manufacturing environment Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators confidently Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments in machining tasks. Demonstrated ability to work safely with hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, forklifts (certification preferred), and other equipment in a fast-paced environment Join our team if you're passionate about precision craftsmanship!
