Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator II to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for producing high-quality precision parts, performing machine setups, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines according to work instructions and production schedules. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications. Install tooling and complete machine setups using setup documentation. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Accurately record production data and job completion in the manufacturing system. Perform routine machine maintenance including coolant checks, lubrication, filter changes, and chip removal. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Meet production goals, quality standards, and scheduled deadlines. Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns, and safety hazards to management. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support production priorities. Assist with additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5• years of CNC machine operation and setup experience.• Ability to independently set up CNC machines and tooling. Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills. Experience using precision measuring equipment. Basic computer and mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Willingness to learn new equipment and cross-train in other production areas. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequently use hands and arms to operate machinery. Occasionally walk, climb, balance, and bend. Lift and move up to 40 lbs . Work Environment Manufacturing facility with moderate noise levels. Fast-paced production environment with changing priorities and deadlines. Requires adherence to all company quality and safety standards. #
INDSJ Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
