Please call 209 606 8975 About Us We are a growing machine shop specializing in precision manufacturing and high-quality parts for a variety of industries. We are looking for a skilled CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist to join our team. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sample parts, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations. Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using applied mathematics and measuring instruments. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tight tolerances. Maintain all measuring and inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Troubleshoot and make adjustments to ensure machines run efficiently and produce accurate parts. Follow safety protocols and keep work areas clean and organized. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist (mill and/or lathe). Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, gauges). Solid understanding of machining practices, speeds, feeds, and tooling. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Knowledge of multiple materials (steel, aluminum, stainless, plastics, etc.).
