Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC equipment used to produce complex, high-precision components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement techniques. You will be responsible for ensuring that all machined parts meet strict dimensional, surface-finish, and production standards through careful setup and in-process inspection. Duties Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, including lathe and milling equipment with 3 to 5 axes. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Perform machine setup procedures to prepare equipment for production runs. Conduct precision machining to produce complex components according to specifications. Use precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and surface quality during machining processes. Perform in-process inspection and troubleshooting to identify and resolve machining issues promptly. Adjust machine parameters as needed to maintain accuracy and quality throughout production. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proven experience with CNC machining, particularly with 3 to 5-Axis machines. Strong ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency in machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of CNC equipment. Knowledge of lathe and milling operations for manufacturing complex parts. Skilled in precision measurement techniques using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation related to machining processes. Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality standards in dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Qualifications Associate's degree, technical/trade school training or equivalent and minimum two or more years related experience. Additional experience may be substituted for formal education. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
