Work with a precision aerospace manufacturer producing flight-critical components on a state-of-the-art Swiss machining floor. Join a stable, growing shop where skilled Swiss operators are in high demand and well compensated.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Set up and operate Swiss-type CNC lathes to produce small-diameter, high-precision aerospace components from bar stock Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and job travelers to machine parts to tight tolerances Perform in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to maintain quality standards Troubleshoot and adjust programs/offsets to correct tolerance or finish issues 2+ years of hands-on Swiss lathe experience (Citizen, Tsugami, Star, or similar) required Machines you'll run: Citizen (K16, C16, L32), Tsugami BS-20, Star SR32J — with automatic bar-feed systems, running Fanuc controls
