Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and prove out jobs on 4-axis horizontal CNC mills (Kitamura preferred)2nd shift 2PM - 10PM Load, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and materialsInterpret aerospace-level blueprints, setup sheets, and GD&T symbolsVerify and edit programs using CNC controls (Fanuc)Perform in-process inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.)Collaborate with programmers and quality team on first article and production readinessMaintain a clean and organized work area; contribute to reducing setup time and improving repeatability
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience, with a focus on 4-axis horizontal and 5-axis vertical millingProficient with Kitamura HMCs and Fanuc controlsStrong ability to read complex aerospace drawings and technical blueprintsSkilled in using and interpreting GD&TComfortable holding tight tolerances of ±0.0005"Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityExperience in aerospace, defense, or job shop manufacturing environments preferredFamiliarity with AS9100 practices, setup documentation, and tool libraries a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in 3-axis CNC milling (4 & 5-axis preferred)Ability to manage multiple tasks and programs simultaneouslyEffective communicator and team playerCapable of performing milling, deburring, and all bench operations as needed
