HAAS CNC

mills and lathes using G-code, M-code, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to produce complex parts with precision. Set up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to blueprints and technical drawings. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical specifications to determine machining sequences and tooling requirements. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measurement instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards. Perform routine machine maintenance, tool changes, and adjustments to optimize performance and minimize downtime. Read and analyze blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and manufacturing documentation for accurate production. Inspect finished parts for quality assurance through CNC quality inspection processes, ensuring adherence to specifications. Maintain detailed records of machine setups, production runs, and quality checks for traceability. Requirements Proven experience operating

HAAS CNC

mills and lathes with a strong understanding of CNC G-code programming. Proficiency in CAM programming software such as SolidWorks or CAD for creating machining programs. Knowledge of machining tools, tooling selection, grinding equipment, and manual machining techniques. Ability to read mechanical blueprints accurately and interpret GD&T specifications for precision manufacturing. Familiarity with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments. Mechanical knowledge of metal machining processes including milling, turning on CNC lathe machines, grinding, and manual machining methods. Strong understanding of M-code commands used in CNC programming for machine control functions. Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, feeds, speeds, and conversions required during setup and operation. Experience with measurement (quality control) procedures to verify part accuracy against specifications. Ability to perform machine setup efficiently while adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote continuous improvement efforts within the team. Power tools familiarity for tooling adjustments or manual operations when necessary.

Pay:

$30.42 - $32.33 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
