00 per hour (DOE) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up and operate lathes to manufacture precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate has strong setup experience, can read blueprints, inspect parts, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Set up and operate 2-axis Okuma, Mori Seiki, and Hitachi Seiki CNC Lathes using Fanuc Controls . Perform complete machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and fixture changes. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings. Monitor machine performance and adjust speeds, feeds, and tooling as needed. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment. Complete production documentation and maintain a clean, safe work area. Operate forklifts, cranes, and hoists as needed. Follow all safety procedures and perform other assigned duties. Qualifications Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person). High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of CNC setup and machining experience. Experience independently setting up CNC mills and lathes. Strong blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measuring skills. Knowledge of CNC programming edits, tooling, speeds, feeds, and offsets. Experience with Okuma, Mori Seiki, Hitachi Seiki, with Fanuc, and Okuma Controls . Aerospace and conventional machining experience preferred. Trade school, Forklift, Crane, or GD&T certification is a plus.
