•$28.00 per hour (DOE) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate has strong setup experience, can read blueprints, inspect parts, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes/turning centers to manufacture precision components. Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, workholding/fixtures, tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements. Monitor machining operations and adjust speeds, feeds, tooling, offsets, and other parameters as needed to maintain quality and productivity. Make basic CNC program edits and adjustments as required. Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring equipment. Troubleshoot tooling, dimensional, and machining issues and make appropriate corrections. Complete production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain machines, tooling, fixtures, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Operate forklifts, cranes, hoists, and other material-handling equipment as required. Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to independently set up and operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes/turning centers . Strong blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement skills. Working knowledge of CNC programming, program edits, tooling, speeds, feeds, work offsets, and tool offsets. Experience with Mazak CNC equipment and/or other comparable CNC controls. Experience with both milling and turning is preferred. Aerospace or other high-precision machining experience preferred. Ability to troubleshoot machining and dimensional issues and make appropriate process adjustments. Trade school, GD&T, forklift, crane, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
