The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on client's campus in Santa Rosa, CA provides high-precision manufacturing solutions that enable the capabilities of client's industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As a machinist you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, Wire EDM, or 3 to 5 axis Milling centers.
Skills:
Client is looking for a highly motivated individual with a desire to learn advanced machining skills. This position will require a machinist with a knack for precision, quality, and attention to detail. Willingness to learn, strong teamwork, a positive attitude, dedication, and job flexibility are a must. In addition, you will interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers. Experience with any/all of the following is highly desired: CNC Turning Swiss Style Lathes Mill/Turn Machine Center Wire EDM Advanced Metrology CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software CAD/Solid Modeling Tool Grinding Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Education:
High School Diploma Associate's Degree or Journeyman Machinist certification a plus
Pay:
$35.00 - $38.00 per hour
