Day Shift | $25-$35/Hour | Bridgeport, WV Tired of Running the Same Part Every Day? A well-established, family-owned machine shop in Bridgeport, WV is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join its growing team on day shift . This opportunity offers challenging, hands-on work machining and repairing custom components that support industries such as mining, heavy equipment, construction, and industrial manufacturing. This is not a repetitive production environment. Every day brings new projects, unique customer requirements, and opportunities to apply your machining knowledge and problem-solving skills. If you enjoy setup work, blueprint interpretation, and taking pride in producing quality parts, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications Select tooling and perform machine offsets Manufacture precision components and repair existing parts Utilize micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify quality Troubleshoot machining and setup issues as they arise Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently Qualifications Required Previous CNC machining experience Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints Experience performing machine setups Proficiency using precision measuring instruments Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work independently and solve problems Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bridgeport, WV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
