What You'll Do As a CNC Swiss Machinist, you'll play a key role in manufacturing high-precision medical components in a clean, state-of-the-art production environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines to produce medical components to precise specifications. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to maintain quality and accuracy. Install tooling, set tool offsets, and make machine adjustments during setup. Perform routine tool changes and monitor tool wear. Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards. Troubleshoot minor machining issues and make process adjustments as needed. Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with medical manufacturing requirements. Collaborate with machining, quality, finishing, setup, and engineering teams to support production goals. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of CNC Swiss machining experience in a production environment. Experience with Swiss machines such as Tsugami, Citizen, Star , or similar equipment. At least 6 months of machine setup experience, including tooling changes and offset adjustments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong understanding of precision machining and tight-tolerance manufacturing. Commitment to producing high-quality components in a regulated manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Medical device manufacturing experience. Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented machine shop. Interest in expanding into setup, programming, quality, engineering, or leadership roles.
