Requirements:
Key Responsibilities Precision Fabrication:
Execute complex machining tasks using a wide array of equipment, including Manual & CNC Lathes, Mills, and specialized hand tools.
Design-to-Build:
Utilize SolidWorks to transition concepts into reality, performing design-for-manufacturability (DFM) assessments.
CNC Mastery:
Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery, ensuring optimal tool paths and efficiency.
Metrology & Quality:
Conduct high-level precision inspections and metrology to ensure all components meet rigorous aerospace-grade or technical tolerances.
Collaborative Engineering:
Work alongside a diverse team of engineers and scientists to solve prototyping challenges for cutting-edge technology projects.
What You Bring Experience:
15+ years of professional machining experience in high-precision environments.
Software Proficiency:
Expert-level knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks) and CNC programming.
Technical Breadth:
Mastery of both manual and automated machining processes.
Metrology Skills:
Deep understanding of measurement tools and quality control standards.
Mindset:
A problem-solving, "design-build" mentality with the communication skills to mentor junior staff and collaborate with technical leads.
