CNC Machinist:

Set up and operate horizontal boring mills, HMCs, and CNC mills and lathes. Read blueprints, GD&T per ASME Y14.5, and technical specifications. Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work holding for efficient operations. Program, edit, and optimize CNC programs at the machine or in Mastercam. Perform first piece and in process inspections with precision measuring equipment. Hold tight tolerances and critical dimensions on complex parts. Monitor tool wear and adjust offsets as needed. Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues to minimize downtime. Serve as a technical resource for less experienced machinists (Level 3). Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a

CNC Machinist:

2+ years of CNC machining experience. Experience with horizontal machining centers, boring mills, verticals, or lathes. Strong knowledge of feeds, speeds, tooling, and materials. Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T. Skilled with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and height gauges. Mastercam programming experience preferred, Experience with Fanuc or similar controls preferred. Experience machining large weldments, castings, or aerospace components is a plus. Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred. Machining certification, apprenticeship, or vocational training preferred. High school diploma or GED. Sound interesting? We want to talk to you!
