Job Overview TE Connectivity is seeking a Machinist II to support manufacturing and tooling operations. This position is responsible for operating machine tools, performing tooling and mold maintenance activities, reading blueprints and tooling prints, making machine adjustments, and producing components to precise tolerances. The role also supports preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts within a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements Operate common machine tools and perform machining tasks to required tolerances. Plan and execute machine runs, including machine setup, adjustments, and workflow monitoring. Read and interpret blueprints, tooling prints, process sheets, sketches, and technical documentation. Service and perform basic preventive maintenance on production injection molds. Perform key and modification changes on injection molds. Conduct inspections and tests to evaluate machine and tooling conditions. Troubleshoot and help resolve equipment, tooling, and machine-related issues. Document maintenance activities, machine performance, and production records. Communicate with engineers and supervisors regarding tooling, quality, and equipment concerns. Provide training and guidance to junior operators as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all EH&S policies and procedures. What your background should look like Required High School Diploma or GED. Basic machining skills. Ability to read and use micrometers and calipers. Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and tooling prints. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Preferred 2+ years of related machining or manufacturing experience.
Experience operating:
Bridgeport Mill Lathe Surface Grinder Vocational training, technical certification, or Associate Degree. Experience with tooling, mold maintenance, injection molds, or machine repair. Experience supporting preventive maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on machining experience, strong mechanical skills, experience working with tooling and manufacturing equipment, and the ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on molds and production machinery. Candidates with less experience but strong machining fundamentals and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $41,900- $62,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
