CNC Lathe Machinist Live Tooling and Set Up Schedule:
1st Shift

Job Summary:
Responsible for Live Tooling Set Up and Operating Lathe Machines to manufacture parts for use in Ripley Tools.
Responsibilities:
Operate and Set up CNC Lathe Machines Operate and Setup Lathes Inspect own work using various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gage and optical comparator Maintain quality and production standards Perform secondary operations as required Read blueprints Work with engineering to support product development Incorporate lean practices into daily activities Participate on continuous improvement teams Maintain a safe and clean working environment Other tasks as assigned by supervisor Willing to work overtime
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience At least 2 years job experience in CNC Production environment required. Ability to do basic math Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis Ability to read and interpret blueprints
