Job Description

Phoenix Manufacturing, Inc. is looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist with deep aerospace components manufacturing experiance to join our premier First Shift team. Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM As a First Shift CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be setting the standard for quality and efficiency across our turning operations.
Setup Mastery:
Execute complex, rapid setups on CNC Lathes and Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) , leveraging your expertise with Fanuc, Yasnac, or Okuma controls. SMX experience is a valuable bonus.
Complex Part Turning:
Specialize in machining intricate, high-tolerance aerospace components from diverse materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, exotic alloys).
Quality & Inspection Champion:
Perform rigorous first-article and in-process inspections using precision instruments (bore gauges, micrometers, etc.).
Process Ownership:
Proactively identify and resolve tooling, machine, and process deviations to maintain a smooth, efficient workflow.
Preventative Care:
Perform essential maintenance to keep our high-end turning machinery running flawlessly. What You Bring to the
Bench:
Deep Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of professional CNC Lathe, Turning, and VTL machining, setup, and operation experience, preferably within the aerospace sector.
Tooling Command:
Proven expertise in selecting, setting, and adjusting tooling for maximizing cycle time efficiency and part quality.
Autonomy & Focus:
A proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a high degree of accountability and quality focus.
