You will play a critical role in producing high-quality components for complex industries by leveraging your expertise in machine setup, G-code programming, and precision measurement to ensure every part meets exact specifications. Responsibilities Configure and operate 2 and 3-axis CNC horizontal lathes to achieve optimal production efficiency. Interpret complex blueprints and apply GD&T standards to ensure component accuracy. Execute G-code programming adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and high-quality output. Utilize advanced measuring instruments and gages to perform rigorous first-piece and production inspections. Optimize production workflows by managing bar feeding systems and troubleshooting machine performance. Collaborate with shop personnel to maintain a high standard of operational excellence and safety. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC lathe machining. Proficiency in operating machinery with Fanuc controls. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and GD&T. Must meet U.S. Person status requirements. Preferred Skills Prior experience with automated bar feeding systems. Strong background in aerospace, defense, or medical component manufacturing. Proven track record of maintaining high precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
