This is a weekend day-shift position where you work 36 hours but are paid for 40. You'll machine tight-tolerance stainless steel and aluminum components across 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and 2 and 3-axis CNC lathes . We're open to dedicated mill machinists, lathe machinists, or experienced machinists capable of running both.

What You'll Run:

CNC Mills:

3, 4, and 5-axis

CNC Lathes:

2 and 3-axis horizontal

Controls:

Fanuc, including machine-side G-code edits

Work:

Complex, tight-tolerance precision components Requirements Independently perform setups on 3-5-axis mills and/or 2-3-axis CNC lathes . Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions. Select tooling and establish work and tool offsets. Make machine-side G-code edits and offset corrections on Fanuc controls. Prove out first parts and make necessary adjustments before releasing jobs to production. Hold tight tolerances throughout production runs. Perform in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and other manual inspection equipment . Troubleshoot machining, tooling, dimensional, and setup issues at the machine.
