Senior CNC Milling Machinist Maverick Tech Milford, CT Job Details Full-time $19.00 - $38.50 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Blueprint specification interpretation Fanuc Milling machines Full Job Description About the Role As a Senior CNC Milling Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving high-precision manufacturing operations by optimizing machine setups and ensuring complex components meet rigorous engineering standards. You will leverage your technical expertise in multi-axis machining and programming to enhance production efficiency and maintain the highest levels of quality output. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and operation of 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical CNC milling centers to achieve optimal production throughput. Develop, refine, and troubleshoot G-code programs to improve machining cycles and part consistency. Configure and manage positional indexers to support the production of intricate aerospace and medical components. Perform rigorous first-article and in-process inspections using advanced metrology tools to guarantee dimensional accuracy. Interpret complex technical blueprints and apply GD&T principles to ensure parts align with exact design specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional shop teams to streamline workflows and resolve technical challenges on the production floor. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a precision CNC milling environment. Proven proficiency with Fanuc control systems and CNC machine changeovers. Strong command of G-code and M-code programming and editing. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings. U.S. Person status required for compliance with industry regulations. Preferred Skills Advanced knowledge of GD&T standards and application. Experience working within high-tolerance industries such as Aerospace, Defense, or Medical. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting mechanical and programming issues.
