Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Brown & Sharpe Set-Up Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting up and operating Brown & Sharpe screw machines , ensuring efficiency, precision, and quality in production.

Responsibilities:

> Set up and adjust Brown & Sharpe screw machines for production runs. > Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions . > Select, install, and adjust tooling, cams, gears, and feed rates . > Troubleshoot and resolve machine or tooling issues to maintain production efficiency. > Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. > Work with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines. > Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications:

> 3+ years of experience setting up and operating Brown & Sharpe screw machines. Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances. > Proficiency with tooling adjustments, changeovers, and troubleshooting . > Strong knowledge of precision measuring tools . > Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
