The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining manual machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Other manual machine experience & CNC exposure is also preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate manual machines to perform tasks such as milling, lathing, grinding etc.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine machining operations
  • Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes
Skills:
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring equipment like calipers
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
  • Understanding of tooling selection and maintenance
  • Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations related to machining processes
  • Proficiency in basic programming and making program edits for CNC machines a plus
