Description:

Provide parts manufacturing leadership, experience and knowledge required to fabricate specified prototype machine parts. Emphasis of this position is the ability to leverage knowledge and experience to set up machine operations, program tool paths, interpret models and understand specified design intent. Working as part of a team with a focus on customer satisfaction is an important expectation of this role. Quals-- Prior experience and sound working knowledge of modern machining processes as well as conventional machining tools. Experience programming CNC machines, inputting the design specifications and ensuring the machine performs as required. Experience planning and creating holding fixtures, selecting cutting tools and securing materials onto shop machines. Experience adjusting machine settings to optimize part quality. Working knowledge of current CAD software packages and file types. Technical School preferred, not required REQUIRED- 10 or more years machine shop experience experience with Manual Machine Shop tools, Bridgeport, tool room lathe etc. experience with
